TRIUMPHING OVER ADVERSITY Isaiah 43:1 say But now,thus says the LORD, who created you,O Jacob,And He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters ,I will be with you;And through the rivers,they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire,you shall not be burned,Nor shall the flame scorch you. Life is full of stages. When you fully submit yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ, He will take control of it. God made it clear to us in these verses that life is full of adversities,but His promises will be fulfild in our lives if we obeyed Him. Jesus never promised us life without difficulties,but in midst of these difficulties He make something good out of it. God is God of all time and purpose. He said in verse two,if you pass through the rivers, there are are many rivers of life to pass through. The good news is that any of the river you pass through makes you stronger in life. The ability to swim through a small river gives you courage to face a bigger one. You most know what does not destroy me makes me stronger in life. Jesus Christ said in the world you will have tribulations,but be of good cheer I have overcome. Your adversity could be that of rivers,while others may be of fire. You must know what fire can do and what rivers can do. Rivers built your muscles and keep you fit physically. That tells you when swim through rivers of life it gives you spiritual muscles and keep you fit spiritually. The fire is meant to purify or refine for the beauty to appear. The fire of life comes in different form,the beauty of it,it's refines the purpose of God in your life. God has promised His children,when they pass through these experience they shall not be hurt or swallowed. So brethren,as you experience these in life focus on Jesus is only though Him you can come out of if refined and beautiful. You must not leave prayers,worship,studing the word of God out of your life. And as you read through this,the power of God will visit you to give you victory from every challenges and difficulties you may have found yourself in the name of Jesus.
